Raw Vegan Snack Bars

Ever worry about what you’re going to eat when you want to stick to a healthy eating plan and you won’t have all the comforts of home? That is what inspired me to attempt making raw vegan snack bars.

I’m heading off to a retreat for a week and I wanted to have breakfast/snack options that fit into my plan and give me energy to face several workout clinics without any added sweeteners and minimal processed products.  As much as I love the taste of some bars out there I wanted something that I could make myself.  Behold the results…one totally raw and the other mostly raw but still vegan.

I hope you try them.  You could probably bake them if you want to try them but don’t have a dehydrator.  Let me know how they turn out if you do!

    1. Thanks for your comment! I love trying new things as well and making something that would be super healthy was the icing on the cake. I like some energy bars but very few have pure, natural ingredient lists with no added oils or sugars/syrups that don’t cost a lot.

  1. Those apple pie bars look really good, and both are very healthy for you! I am not 100% vegan but I do very little meat and dairy so this would be something new for me to try, Thanks!

  2. Thank you Isa for sharing these delicious looking recipes. I will have to try making my stepdaughter who has to eat gluten-free the Raw Vegan Apple Pie Bars the next time that she comes for dinner. It has been challenging a bit to come up with desserts to make for her.

  3. Thanks Isa, I’ve been trying to eat more raw foods, so I really appreciate the recipes. I’m constantly on the run (like everyone else!) and get so frustrated at the lack of choices there are when it comes to good, healthy snacks. And the ones you do find are SO expensive! I’ll be giving these a try, they both look great.
