My husband came home with a bottle of Crestor and the news that his cholesterol is a bit high. I wasn’t pleased at all!
He knew this was going to happen and it’s not the first time this has happened. I’m not sure what he was thinking when he filled the prescription but I think he took one or two pills before deciding not to take them.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against medication. I think medicine and doctors are valuable but I’m against taking medication when you’re trying to control something or change it with medication when you got into the mess in the first place.
If it’s not too late then I think a change to your lifestyle is in order. I’ve given the Mr. a copy of Dr. Fuhrman’s book about cholesterol and I’ve put it back on the shelf. He needs to decide what he wants to do…I’ll be here to support him in whatever decision he makes but ultimately it has to be his decision.
But I can’t promise I won’t try to impact his decision to try focusing on more plant-based, nutritarian meals. After all, he is my partner in crime and I want him to lead a healthy and LONG life!
Tell me what it took or will take for you to change your lifestyle…I’d love to hear from you.
